I was born in Bozeman, MT where I lived on a farm with my family until I was 4 years old. My parents decided to move to Seattle, WA when I was 5. I am very thankful, considering all the beautiful experiences I have had in my life being in the Northwest. I will forever need to live by the ocean and close to the rainforest. My first experience with fire dancing was on the amazing beaches of Southern Thailand. Two beautiful kiwi boys inspired me to buy my first set of poi at the local market. From there, I spun my poi at Vondel Park in Amsterdam, Holland to make a little extra money while travelling. To my surprise, it was hit. When I returned home, I discovered a few of my friends had learned as well. We began fire dancing together and by the New Year of 2001, I had performed my first choreographed fire dance at the Oracle Gathering, Harmony. From that point, I haven’t been able to stop. I have performed at many different clubs, festivals and gatherings up and down the West Coast. I find working with fire is truly spiritual and helps me stay in turn with my inner fire keeping me constantly inspired and aware. I look forward to where it will lead me in the future.
